Registration to the competition and models submission

The choice prediction competition is open to everybody.

Each participant can be the first author of only one submission, and can be co-author of up to one additional submission.

The size of participating groups is unlimited. Yet, in case a group that includes more than 3 people wins the competition, then only the first 3 authors will be invited to co-author the paper with us.

To register you should send us an Email (before April 20th, 2015) to eyal.ert@mail.huji.ac.il with the title “DE competition submission” in which you state that you plan to participate. Please list all your co-authors and cc them. We will reply by sending you your file name.

To submit you should Email us your submission to eyal.ert@mail.huji.ac.il with your file name no later than May 17, 2015. The submission should be a computer program (which can be written in SAS, Matlab, or R only) that reads the parameters of the problems and derive predictions of choice behavior. In addition to the program, the Email should include a word file with the model’s description (see competition rules), the names of your co-authors, and the MSD score of the submitted model on the estimation set. We will use the estimation MSD score to insure that we can replicate your results. Late submissions (after midnight May 17 2015 Jerusalem time) will not be considered. Depending on our constraints, we may consider late registrations until April 30. The specification of the program to be submitted is described in the Competition Rules page.
