The Divison for External Studies reaches out to the local community, conducting activities for Israelis as well as for international students.
Local activities reach out to the community, bringing the general public onto campus as external students in academic courses and as participants in general courses on a variety of topics. There are professional training programs (often conducted in cooperation with governmental ministries, fellow academic institutions, public-interest organizations and private corporations) as well as programs for school-children (conducted in conjunction with educational authorities). In addition, the Division offers preparatory courses for Freshmen and a summer semester.
