International M.Sc. Programs - Financial Information
Applications received from April 1 through June 15 require an additional non-refundable late application fee.
Applications received after June 15 will not be considered.
Academically accepted students must provide documentation of funding to cover all expenses for the period of studies, including tuition, travel and living expenses. Privately funded students will make a non-refundable, initial tuition payment of $1,000 by confirmation of participation date and full tuition payments before the beginning of studies. Several university-administered scholarships are available for outstanding students.
Accommodations: On-campus dormitory fees vary in price according to the level of accommodation. The most common accommodation is a very basic double room, which in 2011-12 cost approximately $2,600 for the year. Academically accepted candidates will be able to request reservations. Off-campus apartments are generally more expensive and difficult to find. (The Division for External Studies does not handle apartment rentals.)
Medical Insurance: Students are required to purchase medical insurance from a recognized Israeli insurance company. This may be done through the Division for External Studies. The cost of medical insurance for the year can be estimated at approximately $500.
Additional Living Expenses: (food, supplies, non-academic activities, etc.) must also be taken into account. An estimate of these costs in 2011-12: approximately $13,000 for a modest student life-style.
Transportation: The student is responsible for travel to and from Israel (arrangements and expenses). This cost varies according to country of origin. Students must document the availability of funding for round-trip tickets.
Fees are for the academic year 2011/2012, in US dollars ($).
This list does not include transportation to and from Israel (which is the responsibility of the student) or the deposit (which is refundable).
The University reserves the right to adjust fees.
