2010 – MSc. in Agricultural Engineering Sciences.

2006 – BSc. Agri. in Soil and Water Sciences.

My primary research interest is in the interrelation between physical,
chemical and biological properties of soil and their impact on water
and solute transport. Another focus of my work is the development of
geoelectrical methods to study subsurface properties and processes.
Currently, my main research themes are:
1. Interactions between root and soil and its impact on root water uptake – experiments and modeling.
2. Monitoring rhizosphere processes with geoelectrical methods.
3. The role of bacteria in root water uptake processes.
