Research Interests:

Uniformity of irrigation water.

Hydraulic parameters for the optimization of irrigation and fertigation of container media.

Improving models for prediction of the uptake of nutrients characterized by limited availablity to plant roots.

Pollution of surface runoff by agrochemicals.

Multi-dimensional flow and transport in unsaturated soil profiles due to layers, topography and nonuniform input fluxes at the soil surface.

Development of water repellent soil owing to irrigation with effluents: mechanisms and spatial and temporal distribution of soil water.
