Gel Documentation System
The MiniBIS Gel Documentation system from DNR can detect and quantitate nucleic acid stains and labels including Ethidium Bromide, GelStar SYBR Gold, Fluorescein, Texas Red and more. It can also accommodate TLC plates, spot and slot blots, autoradiographs, microplates and membranes. Samples can be illuminated by visible or UV light, with built in safety interlock protecting users from harmful UV light at all times.
The system is linked to a computer, where image files are saved and processed using the provided software package.
